How to read condition on our pre-owned items
Every item in our shop is pre-owned and sourced in Japan, and no two are exactly alike. This guide explains how our listings describe condition, so you know what to expect before you order.
The photos show the actual item
The photos in each listing are of the actual item you will receive, not stock images. Please look through all of them: marks that are not mentioned in the text may still be visible in the photos.
Condition labels
Most listings describe condition in the Condition section, starting with a short label:
- Unused: the item has not been used.
- Used — light signs of use: little overall wear, with fine scratches.
- Used — moderate signs of use: scratches, scuffs or dirt from normal use are visible.
- Used — noticeable signs of use: clear scratches and wear.
Small marks that are not listed individually may be present, so the photos are part of the description.
Watches
Unless the listing says otherwise, our watches have not been overhauled. Before dispatch, we check that the watch is working. If we find a problem during that check, we will contact you before shipping.
Timekeeping on a pre-owned watch may vary, and we do not guarantee timekeeping accuracy. We also cannot test or guarantee water resistance on pre-owned watches, so please do not rely on it.
What is included
The listing description says what comes with the item; many listings have an Accessories line. If the description and the photos differ, the photos show what is included.
Collectibles
For figures, die-cast models and trading cards, the listing notes the condition of the packaging when it matters, such as an opened box or wear on the outer box.
Availability
Our items are also offered through other marketplaces. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you about an alternative or cancellation, and we will not send an alternative without your agreement.
Before you buy
The listing photos are the photos we have of the item, so we are generally unable to provide additional photos. If you have a question about a specific mark or what is included, please contact us before ordering.
